Our Network and Security Training programme at FAELLA ICT Institute is a 2-year programme that aims to equip senior technicians with the skills to identify key issues in LAN/WAN/MAN network architectures and address performance and traffic challenges for Quality of Service (QoS). It emphasises the importance of network security practices and provides a foundation for assessing contemporary security policies and mechanisms. Students will develop general skills in teamwork, document analysis, and project management, alongside specific technical skills such as configuring telecommunications equipment, optimising network operations, and administering networks. Graduates can pursue careers in servicing network equipment, telecommunications, information system management, and computer engineering.
Objective of Network and Security Training
This FAELLA ICT Institute speciality trains senior technicians capable to:
Identify the key issues for the realization of the LAN/WAN/MAN network architectures and the hybridized existing form in the business environment and enterprise. Link different network performance concepts and traffic issues for Quality of Service (QoS) in broadband communication, as well as the network economics of the enterprise. Motivate the need for network security practices in organisational units. Build foundations to assess contemporary security policies and security mechanisms within organisations and illustrate the balance of the managerial and technical aspects of network security.
